Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke to him about his function in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he said: Q. Tell us about your team. A. We own nine backend search services that are core to the business's success. One of the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search Results page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We likewise work closely with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven functions to the customer experience, such as search significance improvements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly group that prioritizes strong onboarding and constant assistance. New staff member are guided through the ramp-up process till they're confident taking full ownership of their work. Each employee is valuable to other staff member when facing difficulties.
